(1) Higashi-kurume city

Higashi-kurume city is in Tokyo. Because Rumiko Takahashi had lived there when she started cartooning Maison Ikkoku, we can find many points which were used as models of Clock Hill. So it's said Higashi-kurume is the model town of Clock Hill. But most of buildings used as models have been already pulled down or rebuilt.
It takes 20-25 minutes from Ikebukuro station to Higashi-kurume by train. I checked only main points this time.

The model building of the Clock Hill Station is Higashi-kurume Station North Exit. It doesn't have the same design as the Clock Hill Station entirely, because Rumiko Takahashi modified its design, but we can find many common points.
And on the left of the station there was noodles shop, which was the model of noodles shop where Godai's grandma Yukari was eating the buckwheat noodles in the episode "Sakura-sakuka!?"(Not carried in VIZ comics). But it has been already pulled down, and a laundry is running now in that site.
In front of the station, we can find there is a public telephone. When Godai called to Sakamoto from a public telephone, he met Kozue in the episode "One Entrance Evening". Here is the place Godai met Kozue.

This building is said the model of Cha-Cha-Maru. The name "Pub OBORO" is written in the sign. This pub was running when Rumiko Takahashi was cartooning Maison Ikkoku. This building becomes too old, but another bar is runnig now in it.
And in March of 2002, I found out the exterior of this building was tiled newly.

This is the railroad crossing where Soichiro ran away from Kentaro in the episode "Soichiro Turns Around". This crossing is on the west side of the station. The signboard "Kuguruna Abunai (Do not cross while down)" was on the left side of the crossing in comics, but it's set up on the right side now.

The road of the left photo is the place where Godai was walking on the way from the caffee shop "Happy Talk" in the episode of "Soichiro's Shadow".
The river of the right photo is named "Meguro river". Godai was kicking an empty can after he lost his part-time job in the episode "Don't Fence Me Out". We can see the same view with one of comics (such as the building of the back, the rail...) completely. But we cannot get off to the river bank now.

(2) The place for the nurse examination which Godai took

You know, Godai took two examinations to get the license of the nurse. They were written exam and practice exam. And Godai took the written exam at this Nerima Education Institute. I can find this building is used as government office of the Metropolitan Police Department now. But only a nameplate was changed, we can see the same building with comics.
And Godai took the practice exam at Waseda University. It was cleared the room where Godai took exam was No.302 room of the building No.8 of this university.
The result of that exam was anounced at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office building. It was in YURAKU-CHO, but new building was built soon after then, and it was already pulled down.

(3) Yokohama

Mitaka and his parents have met Kyoko and her parents at the gorgeous hotel. And after that meeting Mitaka took Kyoko to somewhere by his car in the episode "Treacherous Night". It's "Yamashita Park" in Yokohama city.
Please look the left photo. This is the background of Mitaka saying "What a nice breezw...". The buildings on the back side increased in comparison with those days.

The night view overlooked from restaurant is also Yamashita Park. The ship described in that view is Hikawamaru Ship, the symbol of the park. But the lay of the land don't give good agreement with one of comics. I don't know why.
And I can find the bench Mitaka was sitting after he parted from Kyoko.
