- Many residents of Maison Ikkoku are heavy drinkers and heavy smokers. They're smoking without regard to time and place. And even Godai was smoking at first.

- (1) Godai was smoking when he went to a coffee shop with Sakamoto and his girlfriend in the episode #7 (Same as comics).
(2) Godai kept Soichiro's diary from Grandpa Otonashi in the episode #33. He played pinball on his way back to Maison Ikkoku, and he smoked there.
(3) He said "She must know I've stopped smoking ", when Godai was given a cigarette lighter by Akemi in the episode #36.
(4) Godai went to Kanazawa for chasing Kyoko in the episode #61. When he was made take photos of three girls, he was given a pack of cigarette for their thanks. And he said "I don't smoke...".
In animation, he seems to have stopped smoking between the episode #33-36. But he choked on a cigarette in the episode #36, it cannot be soon after he stopped smoking. One member of ML suggested, his smoking showed his heart was down when he kept Soichiro's diary in the episode #33. Godai may have smoked without thinking at that time.
Both in comics and animation, Godai seemed to stop smoking in early time of his college but it's without our knowledge. We cannot know why he stopped. Of course, we can guess fleely, such as it's because he felt uneasy about his future on seeing another residents who were heavy smokers, or he may be too poor to buy cigarettes after entering his college...
- (2) What time does Cha-Cha-Maru open and close?
- Cha-Cha-Maru is a snack bar, which is a coffee shop in daytime and a bar in the night. What time does it open and close?

- When Kyoko and Yukari arrived at Cha-Cha-Maru in the episode "Sakura sakuka!?", the clock said "14:00". Before Kyoko started from Maison Ikkoku, Akemi had already been in Cha-Cha-Maru. So I guess it open at 11:00-13:00. It seems few guests come to Cha-Cha-Maru in the daytime.
(Notice: When kyoko arrived at the station to welcome yukari in the episode of animation #5, the clock said 10:30. But it's impossible that they take 4 hours to Cha-Cha-Maru.)

- What time does Akemi arrive at Maison Ikkoku after working? We can find it by just two cases. It was 23:00 at the episode "Alcohol Love Call"(By Godai's clock), and about 21:30 at the episode "Campus Doll"(By Godai's clock). We can find she sometimes finifhed her work at the evening by the episode "The Big Announcement". So her returning time may not be appointed.
In the episode of anime #36, Akemi came to Cha-Cha-Maru at 20:00 after troubling with Hiroshi. I wonder the colsing time of Cha-Cha-Maru may be about 21:00-22:00...???

- Kyoko said "Is this your day off?" at the episode "Turn the Other Cheek". Akemi said "I'm free tomorrow night" at the episode "A Bunch of Mugs". These words say that nobody know when Akemi take days off.
And I found Master and Akemi ate at restaurant together in the episode "Prune-Faced Cupid". It was Sunday afternoon (that time was 2:30). Do they have regular holidays in Sunday? No, because Kyoko, Ichinose, Mitaka...have been to Cha-Cha-Maru after playing tennis. They usually play tennis on Sunday. So I guess Master and Akemi have day off as the occasion demands.
But Akemi very often loafs on her job. Master may not give her regular holidays.
- (3) What time does Mitaka's tennis club open and close?
- Mitaka is a tennis coach of Tokeizaka(Clock Hill) tennis club. Kyoko and Ichinose join this club. How many times does Mitaka have as lesson?

- They finish their trainnig by Mitaka's calling "That's all for today's lesson".
Mitaka's uncle had told Mitaka to go to Kujo's house until 16:00 in the episode "Good Morning". Perhaps Kujo lives in the center of Tokyo, Mitaka may take more than 30 minutes by his car from Tokeizaka to Kujo's house. So I think he must finish his teaching on about 15:00.

- Ichinose said "I'll be seeing her this afternoon at the tennis club" in the episode "The Scramble kid". So we can know they start playing tennis in the afternoon. By finishing time, I think they may start their trainning at 13:00 or 13:30(?!).
I estimate practice time was two hours until 13:00-15:00 or 13:30-15:00 from the above.
And tennis school doesn't opened only on Sunday, but is opened irregularly.
- (4) What time does Cabarret Bunny open and close?

- The time when Godai went to work was not fixed. He has given out bills with the manager of Bunny at the daytime. But all hostess have come to work in the evening.
When Godai put in a call to Bunny from Love Hotel, he was good scolded by Manager at the episode "I Love You, But...". What time was it? Godai arrived at the station (near hotel) at 18:15. So I guess it was past 18:30 when he had to arrive until. (If he had to go to Bunny until 18:00, he could not go to Cha-Cha-Maru.) Yes, I judge Cabarret Bunny opens at 19:00.

- We know Godai had gotten back to Maison Ikkoku by train after closing Bunny by the episode "The Truth". The time when the last train come to Clock Hill Station was before 1:00 by the episode "Mending a Break". He could catch this train. So I guess his clocking-off time was about 0:00.
So I think Cabaret Bunny opens at 19:00- 24:00.

I shows the brands of sake that Ichinose has drunk in comics. I found she didn't drink only specific brands of sake. She may not worry herself about it, may like to try to drink many kinds.
By the way, it seems to be related to Sumo(Japanese wrestling) in many names of the brands of sake she drunk, such as "Rikishi", "Dohyo", "Kita-no-Umi". Ichinose may like to watch Sumo gake.
And in animation, I can find many real brands of sake, such as "Bisyonen","Masumi","Shimehariduru".
